I was born in 1972 in Toledo, Ohio, USA as the oldest child of four.
In the early 1990s I was very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time. During a duration of over 3 years I met and spent a lot of time with many American Indians who taught me about their traditions, ceremonies and healing methods. American Indians don’t talk very much about these things. You learn by experience. I attended many ceremonies and medicine wheels, participated in over 300 sweat lodges and did two vision quests. I learned a lot about the power of drumming and rattling, dancing and singing as well as smudging. I experienced first-hand what nature can teach you, how to work with the 4 elements and the 4 directions and how to conduct healing ceremonies.
After these intensive years of studying with Medicine Men and Women from different North American tribes such as Lakota Oglala, Ojibwa, Black Foot, Cheyenne, Ute as well as from Mexico, I was ready for a new big adventure. I left the USA and came to Europe. I was travelling for about one year before I settled in Vienna in 1995.
For many years I’ve been practising yoga, Qi Gong and meditation. I deeply believe in the importance of nature as a source of healing power and self-experience and try to spend as much time as possible in nature with my family.
I’ve always been interested in holistic healing work and in 1998 I started my professional trainings. Since then I’ve been working as a therapist:
